Our Jackson Avenue Location
Find Mush-Room at 2748 Jackson Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48103, or Myco & Co at 5540 E. 8 Mile Rd, Detroit, MI 48234. Both storefronts have free on-site parking. Travel times vary with traffic and events; use current directions or TheRide's current route information when planning your journey.
Mush-Room is located in Ann Arbor, where City Council Resolution R-20-370 sets a low local enforcement priority for specified entheogenic activities. Adopted in September 2020, the resolution is not legalization or a retail license and does not override Michigan or federal law. Our legal guide explains the distinction. Our sister store, Myco & Co, is at 5540 E. 8 Mile Rd in Detroit.
Choosing a Contact Method
Call Mush-Room at (734) 802-2209 or Myco & Co at (313) 879-1805 during our daily 10AM-8PM opening hours for time-sensitive store or pickup questions. If staff are helping someone else, leave a message with your contact details and the information you need.
You can also reach us through Instagram @mycoandco for non-urgent messages and announcements. Use the phone for matters that need a timely answer rather than relying on a direct message.
The contact form provides another way to send a non-urgent inquiry, including business or press questions. It is not an emergency service. Contact response times are not guaranteed; call during opening hours when timing matters.
Store Entry & Order Information
Visit any day from 10AM to 8PM without an appointment or membership. Bring valid government-issued photo ID showing that you are at least 21, such as a driver license, state ID, or passport. Allow time for questions if this is your first visit.
At the counter you will see the full shelf: dried strains, capsules, chocolates, gummies, and drinks. Ask any question. First-time customers are the largest single segment of our foot traffic and staff is trained to walk absolute beginners through dosing, format selection, and setting.
Submitting an online order does not collect payment. We review the order and send payment instructions separately; orders are free in-store pickup only - we do not ship.
Contact & Visiting Questions
Do you deliver or ship?
No. Mush-Room does not ship or deliver. Orders are in-store pickup only at 2748 Jackson Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48103, or at Myco & Co, 5540 E. 8 Mile Rd, Detroit, MI 48234.
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes. Walk in any day between 10AM and 8PM. Same-day online orders are typically ready within 30 minutes of confirmation, but browsing the shelves in person is welcome and encouraged for anyone new to psilocybin or new to the shop.
Do I need an appointment?
No appointment required. Just bring a valid 21+ ID.
Can I call to check inventory?
Yes — call Mush-Room at (734) 802-2209 or Myco & Co at (313) 879-1805 during hours. Ask for stock on any specific strain, format, or edible. Our counter staff has hands-on experience with the current lineup and can tell you exactly what is available and recommend alternatives if a specific SKU is out. Website stock flags reflect catalog records, so call to confirm shelf availability before traveling.
Can you hold a product for me?
Yes. Call ahead and ask counter staff to set aside a specific SKU under your first name. Holds are honored for 24 hours. For high-demand drops (new capsule lots, limited chocolates, festival weekends) place a paid online pickup order to lock inventory rather than a phone hold.
Do you carry medical psilocybin?
No. Mush-Room is not a medical facility and does not provide medical psilocybin under any state or federal medical program. All products are sold under Ann Arbor Resolution R-20-370 (September 2020). We are not a therapist, a clinic, or a prescriber. For medical psilocybin access, Oregon and Colorado have state-regulated programs. Our sister store, Myco & Co, is at 5540 E. 8 Mile Rd in Detroit.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash and card are accepted in store.
Where do I park?
Mush-Room has free surface parking directly at 2748 Jackson Ave, plus additional free street parking on S State St and side streets. Myco & Co has free on-site, rear and street parking at 5540 E. 8 Mile Rd. No parking fee, no meter, no time limit.
Are you handicap accessible?
Yes. Ground-floor entry, no steps, wide door, ADA-accessible counter. Service animals welcome. Restroom is single-stall accessible.
Do you have a physical menu I can bring in?
The website shop shows the current catalog, with recorded prices and stock indicators. It is not a live point-of-sale feed. Ask staff about the current shelf selection or a printed summary if you want something on paper.
What if I have a bad experience with a product?
Call the store. We take every quality complaint seriously and pull suspected lots off the shelf pending investigation. Our sourcing standards, testing protocols are documented and open to anyone who asks.
